Garlic Maple Syrup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • fresh Ontario garlic cloves (1-2)
  • raw honey or maple syrup (maple syrup and food grade glycerin for babies under 1 year)
  • sharp knife and cutting board

 

Directions:
1. Finely mince or grate garlic while still slightly frozen.
2. Pour just enough honey over the garlic to cover it. Allow this to sit for 10-15 minutes.
3. Stir well. Cover and use as needed. Store at room temperature. Use within 24 hours. If not used in 24 hours, refrigerate until needed.
